Esquel

In Central Patagonia lies another magnificent region around the remote town of Esquel in the Los Alerces Park, home to excellent fishing opportunities in diverse scenic lakes and rivers characterized by forested banks and clear waters, each a shaded corridor through captivating mountain scenery with splendid vistas. We fish the productive Arroyo Pescado, a lovely spring creek, the remarkable Río Grande and the Rivadavia, the Carrileufu and Arrayanes rivers, as well as virtually untouched waters with private access, staying at the new Carrileufu Lodge.

Lake La Plata

This destination is as remote, pristine and beautiful as a destination can get. Bountiful brook trout in the range of 1 to 3 lb, and an occasional exceptional 4 lb, are caught from the mouths of the streams running into the crystal clear waters of Lake La Plata. The new deluxe lodge Bahía Arenal offers the best of both worlds to fishermen and non-fishing companions: fun fishing and a formidable outdoor experience, hikes and horseback rides in spectacular scenery, gourmet cuisine and utmost comfort.
